Overview
The Caregiver Support Sidekick will provide in-person, trauma-informed support to caregivers of children and youth in foster care throughout Clark and Cowlitz Counties. This role focuses on augmenting the supervision and activities provided by caregivers to address the complex behavioral and developmental needs of foster children, which cannot be managed without additional support.
Key qualifications include experience in social work, child care or related fields, a strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices, and the ability to work effectively with children, youth, and families in the foster care system. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
Reporting to the Caregiver Support Program Manager, the Caregiver Support Project Supervisor oversees a team of up to 6 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs), including Behavioral Case Aides, and Placement Support Managers (aka Case Managers). As a vital member of Fosterful’s program leadership team, the Supervisor is responsible for managing staff and processes while ensuring effective delivery of trauma-informed services and the development of Caregiver Support Plans. This role requires compliance with organizational standards and state contract requirements, comprehension of complex operations, as well as maintaining timely and high-quality service for caregivers and children in foster care. The Supervisor must possess strong communication skills to clearly convey expectations and foster a culture of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI), and cultural competency, ensuring that employees feel valued, heard, and safe, ultimately enhancing the positive impact on the clients served.
